How we do it
Carpet Repair, the way the fiber calls for.
A burn from a dropped iron, a chewed corner, a seam that has opened in a doorway or a worn patch in front of the sofa does not mean the room needs new carpet. Damaged areas can usually be patched with material from a closet or a remnant, so the repair is invisible from standing height.
We also re-seam open seams, repair transitions where carpet meets tile or wood, and replace damaged tack strip. Repairs are usually done on the same visit as a cleaning, so the whole room looks uniform when we leave.

What happens on the visit.

Look at the damage
A photo is often enough for a quote. On site we confirm the carpet type and look for donor material in a closet.

Cut and fit
The damaged section is cut out and a matching piece is cut to fit, pattern and pile direction aligned.

Bond
The patch is bonded in place and the seam sealed so it will not lift or fray.

Blend and clean
The repair is groomed into the surrounding pile and the area cleaned so the patch blends in. We also leave you a spot out bottle for touch-ups, and we refill it free the next time we're out.

Common questions
Will the patch be visible?
From standing height, usually not, especially when donor carpet comes from a closet in the same house. Carpet that has faded or worn unevenly may show a slight difference up close.
What if I don't have spare carpet?
Material from the back of a closet is the usual source. If there is none, we can sometimes source a close match, or recommend dyeing to blend the repair.
Can you fix pet damage at a doorway?
Yes. Chewed and scratched corners near doors are one of the most common repairs we do.
Can the repair be cleaned afterwards?
Yes. Once bonded, a patch is cleaned like the rest of the carpet, and we usually clean the room on the same visit so everything matches.
